i have the original MBTs that skechers copied for these and i do like them for walking, altho they are not a quick fix by any means. one reason i like them is that i NEVER get shin splints from walking in them, even going for an extra long (i.e. 5+ miles) after not walking for awhile. on the other hand, my running shoes, which are very good, will always give me shin splints (even when walking) if i haven't walked in awhile.
on a side note: i hate wearing tennis shoes and sneakers. for exercise i regularly do yoga, which is barefoot.
