Stunted coat ( caused by hypoglycemia)- Improvement Pictures

As many of you know my Twinkle Little Star had hypoglycemia as a wee puppy and a stunted coat as a result. She is very small and will never be big enough to be bred and with the history of hypoglycemia she was deemed a "pet quality" and I purchased her. She is not quite 7 months old ( birthdate Sept 16 2009) and she weighs a whopping 2.2 lbs - 2.6 lbs (depending on if she has just eatten)

Her straggly thin coat is being replaced with a luxurious one and I just wanted to show the coat change- since I got a good picture of it. The thin coat is about 1+ inches longer than her thick one, which is about 1 inch, and although it will be a long time for it to look good I want to show the progress. Here is the photo

Its a suppliment......I have been trying.

I use Horse Shine for my horses with fabulous results so I am trying thier dog product since I have finicky small malts Twinkle is 2.4 lbs ( 7 months), Mimi is 3.6 ( 10 months), Jilli is 4.8 ( 27 months)and Emma is 7.4 ( 26 months). Twinkle has a stunted coat, Mimi I am trying to have a good show coat, Jilli just weaned pups so she has to recover from that and Emma is my high energy Tomboy who runs alot outdoors.......they all have individual needs for optimal nutrition. They eat Artemis fresh mix puppy.
She looks like she's thriving... great job!!! What a teeny little thing!!!
Wow!! What a difference! Do you think any of it is her adult coat coming in..?

Please keep us updated as it continues to grow!
*sigh* I love Twinkle. :tender: You just wait, she's going to have a GLORIOUS coat. I've always thought so. You're doing a great job with her.
she looks great and I love those little pads sticking out.
My husband says " She doesn't have legs, she has chicken bones!"
Twinkle is looking great. I bet she'll even surprise you with some more weight gain. Good food, love and attention work wonders. Can't wait to see her again.
That is just wonderful!! Before long you won't even know she had a tough start!
I think Twinkle is one of the cutest babies I've seen. She had that little face that makes me want to hug her.

Fabulous coat! I researched "Artemis" dog food and it is great food. I wish it was sold in Canada but it is not.
Twinkle is adorable and great job with her coat.
Twinkle looks great! She is such a sweet and loving girl. Can't wait to see her and your gang again.
