I just received a large size Sturdibag with the divider and it seems too small. My dogs are about 5.5 pounds each.

If you have a large divided Sturdibag and have traveled with your fluffs, can you tell me if it was an adequate size for them?

This was adequate size when Roo was much smaller. Soda was 6 1/2 lbs I think and Roo was about the same. Mine curl up anyways.

its a good size for my two - stu is about 5.25 and reina 4.2 at the vets this week. mine curl up also. i will often use the bag for sleeping when i'm traveling, but i only put 1 in it so they can stretch out. my parents have another bag of similar size for the other one, so the two side by side mimicks our crate situation in our bedroom at home.

Okay, thanks. I am only going to use it for air travel, if something comes up at the last minute and I have to fly. We usually travel by car.

it is big enough - the extra large is too big to fit under the airline seats. They can stand up and turn around, so that is always good!

i use mine in the car, too, as a "carseat". buckle it into the back seat and you are safe to go!
