Back from a quick business trip to Toronto. What a fun city ... too bad I had to work!! Had just enough time to do some star gazing (the Toronto International Film Festival is going on right now), and some eating and drinking. Had the BEST New England-style clam chowder at Rodney's Oyster House, not to mention the oysters which were out of this world. Met up with others from the office at the Academy of Spherical Arts (fancy name for a nice restaurant with pool tables), then to Brazen Head, a nice Irish pub, then somehow we ended up at a nightclub. :chili: I have no idea what the name or address is. Other than a teeny weeny headache yesterday morning :w00t: my only complaint is my feet. Not fair that we were all in business attire ... meaning the guys had flat comfortable shoes and I had on heels. Told my boss I'd be leaving early today as I have an appointment to have my feet amputated.
To sum it up, Toronto is a great city, one I'd go back to in a heartbeat! And flying on Porter Airlines directly into the city airport is the best. No lines, no fuss, and free shuttle and a 10 minute ride to downtown.
