Linda, that sounds very positive, thank goodness. Will the meds take the weight off or will you need to put her on a diet or both?

Linda -we've alway used the "green bean diet" for show dogs when they put on a little weight. For Lhasas I would feed a cup of food each day (mixed wet and kibble), but when I needed to take weight off, i would cut them down to 1/3 cup of food and 2/3 cups of green beans. It was filling but not fattening. Kind of like humas eating lettuce and celery. And if Sophie is still hungry you can give her more green beans or chow mein veggies.
