Maybe a stupid question...because dogs that go outside-you'd never be able to tell how yellow it is...
. Sometimes Brink's is yellower than other times. He always has fresh water, so I know it is not a lack of water issue...maybe he just doesn't choose to drink enough though. Is it something to worry about? Are there things to watch for? He goes at least 3-4 times a day. Sometimes more on the weekends, when he doesn't sleep as much.

Mikey's urine will be neon yellow sometimes from bilirubin...pretty alarming at first LOL Now its just his normal.

It is normal for their urine to be darker first thing in the morning because it is more concentrated. While they are active and drinking during the day, it will be lighter. Really dark or abnormally bright yellow urine should be checked (ie Mikey's neon yellow is not good for a normal dog, but with his liver disease is not alarming to us).
