HI everybody!

Happy Monday! What do you all do for a living? I work for a National publisher as a circulation/marketing manager. Too bad it's not a doggie book! hehe

I work for a company called MediNotes. Basically the company does software for doctor's offices. Instead of having a paper patient records we have software for electric patient records. I am a Quality Assurance Specialist. Which means I get to play around on the computer all day trying to "break" the program.

I am a stay-at-home mom (a girl;13, a boy;16 and Tiki
; almost 2). Since my human children are older, I now have time to do indipendent work designing web sites, graphics, fliers and doing photographic touch-up and photo slide shows. I also assist in teaching both after school and evening American style karate classes. I am going for my black belt next year and then I can have my own classes.

I am a retired :D nurse. Worked in a hospital for 35 years. The first 12 years I was in charge of Labor and Delivery...whew
The next 23 years I worked in Recovery Room/Ambulatory surgery.
Very rewarding and exciting profession.
My husband is a retired detective.
We just love to play with our little Sassi and take her for walks, car rides, and she also rides in the basket on my bicycle...she totally LOVES
riding in the bike!
Since our kids are all grown and gone... Sassi is our priority.
She has stolen her 'daddy's' heart

I book Fantasy Vacations, its okay, kinda stressful, and I plan weddings and find people a proper Maltese or Yorkie (yes people actually pay for that! LOL), so its a smorgageboard(sp?) of different things I like to do.

Such an interesting post! And here I thought everyone was just a Maltese lunatic like me with no other life........

Of course I'm joking. After 25 years in Telecommunications, the last 10 as a wholesale sales rep with lots of (too much) travel, I have switched to Advertising sales in my husband's company. We have kiosks in hotel lobbies (see www.askjose.net) that print out information and directions to places of interest for hotel guests. The advertisers get a 4" x 2" billboard type logo ad button that when pressed, prints out a text ad and exact step by step directions to the advertiser's place of business from that specific hotel.

My job is fun because I am in tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. most days and these people are service oriented and very nice and personable to deal with.

One hobby is baking fancy highly decorated cookies and I try to match the cookie to my customer's business and give them as gifts. One client sells teapots, another motorcycles, so it can be challenging artistically.
