I work for a company called MediNotes. Basically the company does software for doctor's offices. Instead of having a paper patient records we have software for electric patient records. I am a Quality Assurance Specialist. Which means I get to play around on the computer all day trying to "break" the program.
I am a college student. I am about to start my senior year in 2 weeks. I will graduate with my BS in nursing...and will be an RN. Even though I just have a year left...it still feels like I will never be out of school, haha.
I am a stay-at-home mom (a girl;13, a boy;16 and Tiki
; almost 2). Since my human children are older, I now have time to do indipendent work designing web sites, graphics, fliers and doing photographic touch-up and photo slide shows. I also assist in teaching both after school and evening American style karate classes. I am going for my black belt next year and then I can have my own classes.
my real job is in Sales for a Kitchen and Bath wholesale distributor, I sell between $250,000 to $300,000 per month in plywood, cabinet hardware, screws, glue, etc etc to the cabinet makers who build kitchens
my wife just finished 3 years of school (after working another job for 13 years) to become a Radiology Technologist, ie: she does x-rays
I am a retired nurse. Worked in a hospital for 35 years. The first 12 years I was in charge of Labor and Delivery...whew
The next 23 years I worked in Recovery Room/Ambulatory surgery.
Very rewarding and exciting profession.
My husband is a retired detective.
We just love to play with our little Sassi and take her for walks, car rides, and she also rides in the basket on my bicycle...she totally LOVES
riding in the bike!
Since our kids are all grown and gone... Sassi is our priority.
She has stolen her 'daddy's' heart
everyone has exciting jobs! im a student at a junior college, i want to be a veterinarian. i also work at my brothers and sisters firm. they own an investment company...they have a hedgefund for people to invest. so i come here, do charts and graphs, and go to school (its only 2 minutes away...yay!). the downside---i wake up at 5am mon-fri eventhough i dont start school till 10am. the upside--i still get paid as though im working full time. lol.
Okay, compare to everyone else, I sound like the loser... Right now i'm an assistant mgr. for a leather goods company. My job isn't perfect but I like it more than my past jobs where I worked for a bunch of dumbas***!!
Cool Boom Boom, Im going to school to become a teacher, but just elementary
I book Fantasy Vacations, its okay, kinda stressful, and I plan weddings and find people a proper Maltese or Yorkie (yes people actually pay for that! LOL), so its a smorgageboard(sp?) of different things I like to do.
If I don't teach, I want to be a flight attendant!
Such an interesting post! And here I thought everyone was just a Maltese lunatic like me with no other life........
Of course I'm joking. After 25 years in Telecommunications, the last 10 as a wholesale sales rep with lots of (too much) travel, I have switched to Advertising sales in my husband's company. We have kiosks in hotel lobbies (see www.askjose.net) that print out information and directions to places of interest for hotel guests. The advertisers get a 4" x 2" billboard type logo ad button that when pressed, prints out a text ad and exact step by step directions to the advertiser's place of business from that specific hotel.
My job is fun because I am in tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. most days and these people are service oriented and very nice and personable to deal with.
One hobby is baking fancy highly decorated cookies and I try to match the cookie to my customer's business and give them as gifts. One client sells teapots, another motorcycles, so it can be challenging artistically.
