Where are these old posts coming from?

I can't figure out what is going on..... in the Introduce Yourself department there are all these "Welcome" posts for new members but then when I look to see when they joined, the date of their Intro post is 2004! There were several like this.....

i think it was b/c someone didnt realize it was a year old and posted on it.

Hmmmm, You know what would be neat... if under the post title it would give the date it was originally posted... of course I guess we could add the date to our title but it'd be great if it was done automatically... Joe?
