I'm curious as to what to show at my friend's "Girl's Night" housewarming event I'm hosting next month and was hoping for some good ideas. The movies don't have to be "chick" flicks either.:thumbsup:

here are a few of my favorites:

UP by Pixar
Adam Sandler/Kate Beckinsale movie Click
The Holiday with Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law
The Reader(I'm a big Kate Winslet fan :p )
Sherlock Holmes
Tropic Thunder was pretty funny as well

By the way I strongly recommend the new Iron Man 2!! :D

Oh and how could I forget, Inglourious Basterds!

I liked Wall-E, UP, Star Trek, Happy Feet, basically every Pixar/DreamWorks movie. Hmmm, there's more that I can't remember...

Best in Show was hysterical and in many ways so accurate. :LOL:
I still love Gone with the Wind and more recent Holiday and Alice.

these are the top 6 for sure..sorry I couldn't just stick with 5 but I have watched all these over and over again..and usually movies aren't worth rewatching.

Honestly, when I first watched Best in Show a few years ago, I assumed that the movie exaggerated the "drama" of the dog show world.

Now, with some rudimentary knowledge of the dog show world, I rather think Best in Show may have underplayed the "drama" of the dog show world. :HistericalSmiley:
