We don't have any plans yet, but I'm super excited because I don't have to work this weekend, so I can stay up super late and sleep in the next day!!!!!!!! It will be great to actually spend some time with DH! We might just have a little get together here with champagne and goodies and watch the ball drop on TV.
tlunn - I totally know what you mean about trying to get out of debt. We are battling student loans right now and that's our new year's resolution! I highly highly recommend Dave Ramsey's book "The Total Money Makeover".. he will get you so pumped to pay things off! His book is amazing and has tons of inspirational stories to keep you motivated.![]()

Tlunn,
How far are you from Nashville? My daughter graduated from Vanderbilt and really misses Nashville. The kids at Vandy call it NashVegas. I used to love to visit when she was in school. You're lucky.

Tlunn,
We're on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so its about 7-8 hours from Nashville (depending on who is driving!). Our daughter finished at Vandy in 3 years with a degree in Spanish and is taking this year off to finish a couple of prerequisites for Dental School. She wants to follow in her Dad's footsteps. She's got one interview and she's hoping for at least one more. Vandy is a great school, but highly competitive, and she really needed a break year before Grad school. She took a couple of science classes last semester and has an apt in Hattiesburg at Univ. of Southern Miss. She only needs one more prereq that she'll get this coming semester but will also audit a couple of other science classes. While concentrating on the Spanish she had been away from science for awhile and this has been a good opportunity for her to refresh on all of that. She's the one that we originally got Sadie for. She and I are still going to have to fight it out over which dog goes with her and which stays here with me. We're waiting until we get Sassy on Friday before we worry about it. LOL
