I;m so sorry for your loss! In addition to breeders, please give some thought to a rescue. Northcentral Maltese Rescue has several young babies as does American Maltese Association Rescue. Good luck in the search.
I came across a wonderful breeder near Orlando. She REALLy cares about her puppies, and is very helpful and friendly. She will stay on the phone, as long as you need to answer all your questions.
